Hi Lisa; I have tried to sell on ebay off and on for a couple of years but with out making any profit. I have tried to think of what my “niche” might be but, I’ve come up emptyhanded.
I am also pretty much monitarily broke, so I am looking at all the nice free blogs. e-mails, etc. you send for help.

I really think we would all love to have a calendar on how to track business. Since there is one available would this be something you might consider posting? I only sell auction Style and I am copletely on the hit or miss theory LOL. Thanks

Thanks Hollywood! You’ll find this to be very useful – because it helps you plan ahead really start thinking about merchandising far enough in advance that you have the time to put together good, solid promotions and get your inventory readied to be featured front and center.

I do actually have a full year calendar of selling seasons from Jan- Dec. I update it every year. Maybe I’ll publish the whole calendar here.

Another thing that I find very useful is to put together a marketing calendar using a Big Grid Calendar. I always buy mine at the end of the year, but you can still get them at Amazon. Just make sure you buy this bigger version.

I hang this on my wall in my office, so I can easily flip through and look at the different selling seasons and the marketing promotions I have scheduled.

This is GREAT! I’ve searched the internet high and low for a “retail calendar” that gives the important dates, events, holidays, etc, for us retailers so we can prepare for these increased selling times. Thank you! I was going to make my own but didn’t want to miss anything “after the fact”. The only thing I could ask more of would be Jan-Mar and July-Dec! This is a huge help, thank you again and thanks for your great insights for our sales! Hollywood
