Hi Terry,
Thank you, I really appreciate that.

I have to say that after being in this business since 2002, I am so tired of seeing all the hype that is paraded in front of would-be online entrepreneurs.

I've had other "gurus" in this business tell me "don't make it sound hard" "don't say the word work" "people just want an easy solution".

And while I agree with Occam's razor that says "The simplest solution is usually the correct one", I believe that people are willing to work hard to achieve their goals if they know their efforts will produce real results.

Where people get disillusioned is with all the "easy money" salesmen on the web selling dreams but no substance.

So that's why I try and just tell people straight up what it's going to take. At least that way people can make an informed decision about whether or not starting a business is something they really want to do or not.

Hi Ekram,
Even now mom guilt creeps up on me at times, and I have to work at objectively looking at the situation. For example, I'll pick up my kids from school and then come home and usually go right back to work at my desk. There are many days that I 'd love to call it a day at 3:00pm, but I have to get a certain amount of work in each day before 6:00pm. So I remind myself that I'm home with them, available to answer homework questions or take them to sports practices etc. If I were still working in corporate America, I'd likely have a 60 minute commute each day which would put me home at 7:00pm. And they'd be in child care until 7:00pm. So you have to consciously look at what you are doing for them and focus on the good things. :-)
